Class Charter

We are a 'Rights Respecting School' and have been very busy writing our class charter. We worked in groups and shared ideas. We wanted to present the finished charter in a creative way. The children suggested making a patchwork quilt. I took photos of their work and printed it (mirror image) onto Transfer Paper. This was then ironed onto fabric and stitched together.
What do you think?

Let's Have A Hoot With Reading

Miss Harrison got a little carried away making owls over the Christmas holiday! The children can choose an owl to be their reading buddy. This is to practice reading to an audience and improving fluency without any fear of "getting it wrong".

We have been looking back on the highlights of last year and planning our goals for this new year. We are excited to learn new skills and become the best that we can be!
